Can You Reheat McDonalds?

Q: I hate wasting my leftovers, especially my fast food with how high the prices are! Is there any way to reheat my McDonalds?

mcdonalds

A: There are a few ways to reheat your leftovers, for McDonalds, and most similar establishments, you can easily reheat their food with little to no loss in flavor.

French Fries– Put fries on a baking pan and put into a 350-degree oven for 10-15 minutes. Keep an eye on them in case they get close to burning.

Hamburgers– Depending on the sandwich, you will have to take off some of the toppings. You should not reheat the buns because of the condiments that are often on them. Also, you should not reheat lettuce, pickles, or tomatoes.

To reheat the burger, take off the toppings, place back in wrapper and microwave on power level 4, for two minutes. Flip sandwich after one minute. Repeat if needed.

Chicken Nuggets– Place nuggets on baking pan and put into a 350-degree oven for 10-15 minutes. Be sure to flip them half way through cooking.

Chicken Sandwiches– Take off all toppings and reheat chicken separately on a microwave safe plate. Microwave for one minute, flipping after 30 seconds.

Buns– Take as much of the toppings off as possible, wrap in a paper towel, and microwave for 10 seconds.

McWraps– Take meat out from wrap, microwave separately for one minute, flipping after 30 seconds. Do not microwave wrap itself!

McDonalds and other fast food chains have similar food items, and, therefore, this list can easily be applied towards other sandwiches!

For the chicken nuggets, it’s a process. But if you want to revive them, it’s worth it. Especially if you bought a big quantity when they go on sale… Wrap them in foil with a tbsp of water and put in a 350 degree oven for 10 minutes. Take them out and let them sit on a rack for a few minutes. Not in the foil. VERY Lightly spritz with cooking spray and put them under the broiler for about a minute, flip them and give them another minute or until they crisp up. Works if they were frozen, as well, but make sure they’re thawed before you start.

I found simply putting them under the grill at high heat and flipping after a few minutes crisps them up perfectly without the hassle
